Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Professional to join our client in Folsom, CA. This individual will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with local businesses to promote and sell memberships, sponsorship packages, and marketing services. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who is passionate about community engagement and helping businesses thrive.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of a Business Development Associate include but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential new partners through networking, lead generation, and market research.
  • Relationship building: Establishing rapport with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Sales presentations: Presenting the value proposition of company partnership, highlighting benefits like networking opportunities, business exposure, and community involvement.
  • Closing sales: Negotiating packages and securing commitments from potential partners.
  • Account management: Maintaining relationships with existing partners, addressing their needs, and renewing partners.
  • Event planning: Participating in events to promote partnership and connect with potential clients.
  • Data management: Tracking sales activity, maintaining accurate customer information within the CRM system.


Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years demonstrated experience in B2B sales development from initial discovery to closing the sale
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is preferred.
